Publication protocol
A549 cells (3×104/well) were seeded to 24-well plates for overnight before being treated with 100 nM doxorubicin. After 7 days of the treatment, SA-β-galactosidase staining was carried out using the Senescence histochemical staining kit (Sigma) following the manufacturer's instruction. Cells were incubated at 37 °C for 18 h and photographed.
